My sister-in-law leaves for a mission to Suva, Fiji this month to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ--in French!! Nothing like leaving for a foreign country and warm climate at the beginning of a Utah winter. Just in time, I say.

We stopped by Gardner Village for some pre-mission pics, and even though it was the season for the annual Witches' Night Out event, we still managed to get some charming photos! If this missionary were at my door with her cozy personality, I'd let her in for sure.

what's in the haunted old house?

It's Halloween time, and in my family that means candy, apples, and music (not necessarily in that order). My father-in-law's annual Halloween performances at libraries all over Salt Lake County is a fun way to get me in the spirit (oooOOooo) of autumn photography. Unfortunately I don't have permission to display any pictures of the kids who come and listen to all the fun music he's written over the years, but he brings enough props and decorations to fill at least a few spots on my blog.
